Back Pain Definition

Back Pain can be caused by problems in any of the spinal structures. It is one of the most frequent reasons people are absent from work in the United States. Back pain can be located in either the upper or the lower back. In medical terms, these regions are known as the thoracic and lumbar areas of the spine.
